What was the highlight of P Chaweng
Good Value, location and staff.
Was in a good location as slightly out of really busy area but short walk to Chaweng beach. Good size room with large fridge and kettle provided. Coffee, fruit and pastries offered from reception each morning and bottles of water given each day. Easy to exchange towels. Pool was lovely, sun beds often in shade but not a problem for us. Lovely terrace out front. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Selection of books in reception to take and tour info available. Shame there was building work going on next door which was a bit noisy, staff very apologetic. For budget accommodation was perfect and no problems for drivers to find us easily.

What was the highlight of P Chaweng
Pleasant staff with ok English skills, good simple breakfast, good wifi, cheap motorbike hire, location close to main beach and walking street areas.
One of the outside airconditioners had a loud pulsing growl from a worn compressor bearing which necessitated ear plugs for sleep first night, but my room was then cheerfully changed to a quiet one. Chaweng: The walking street is infested with ultra-load vans touting thai boxing and other dubious attractions, also many people smoking everywhere including inside the restaurants . . . chiefly loud citizens of that big country to the north.

We originally thought the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable
THE STAFF ARE THIEVES This guesthouse has stolen 2,400 Euro of my partner!! All of the staff here know exactly what they are up to and I am so devestated to read on trip advisor and other websites that this situation has happened many times before! The cleaner on our last day completely turned my partners bag upside down and stole his money which was well hidden inside a pair of shorts, inside a plastic bag at the very bottom of his massive rucksack with another load of bags on top of. The way the staff treated us when this happened was DISGUSTING. After being allowed to watch back on CCTV - it was clear to see that the only person who had entered the room apart from us was the cleaner and yet they STILL continue to deny that it was them. When approaching the cleaner, she acted as if she did not speak a word of English even though she had been speaking clear English to us for the past week. The staff were so unbelievably rude and disrespectful towards us and I really hope that they realise that they have completely ruined our trip which we have worked so very hard for. Do not stay at this guesthouse unless you are willing to give up all your money and valuables. It is so unsafe and they really do not care about their guests. I really hope that one day this guesthouse will stop getting away with stealing money as it is clear to see that this has happened on several occasions when reading trip advisor reviews!!!! They should not be getting away with this!! Don’t take the risk!
