What was the highlight of P Chaweng

Good Value, location and staff.

Was in a good location as slightly out of really busy area but short walk to Chaweng beach. Good size room with large fridge and kettle provided. Coffee, fruit and pastries offered from reception each morning and bottles of water given each day. Easy to exchange towels. Pool was lovely, sun beds often in shade but not a problem for us. Lovely terrace out front. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Selection of books in reception to take and tour info available. Shame there was building work going on next door which was a bit noisy, staff very apologetic. For budget accommodation was perfect and no problems for drivers to find us easily.

What was the highlight of P Chaweng

Tucked away at the end of a lane, so plenty of parking and privacy. Spacious rooms and a small albeit clean bathroom. Wardrobe and clothes hangers provided, along with large towels every day.

The bedsheets and pillowcases had what looked like burn marks.

Great location walking distance to beach, clean comfortable room, nice free breakfast. Great value for the money if you just need a basic room.

Wifi was too slow for skype calls or video streaming.

When I was to check our I was asked to pay for cokes which I had payed already 2 days before ..after having to show the staff where they had written in there book I had payed then agreed i had payed.i understand we all make mistakes but don't double charge me and insist you are always correct.this pissed me off not to return .bathroom needs extractor fan

Breakfast is ok. But they serve the breakfast with the unhappy face, everyday. Dont know why.

Staffs especially the receptionists attitude are very bad since the first step we reach the hotel. No smile. Bad mood face. Not polite. They just show the unhappy face for no reason, everyday. The receptionists are not helpful too. An old building with old facilities. Everything old. Not clean.

Breakfast was good value for money. Toast, eggs, fruit, tea/coffee and fruit juice. Bed was huge. Room was clean enough although out dated.

Staff not very clued up on local tours and really struggle with English. Best to book tours with travel agents further into the town. Bathroom not great either.

Rooms were good

The lady at the reception was super grumpy and unfriendly. When we said that we booked a room with a balcony she started yelling at us that they don't have rooms with balconys and we can go if we don't like the rooms. So she was very unfriendly. When we asked her why she's so unfriendly with us she said that's just the way she is. The other staff members were friendly, but we'd definitely won't recommend it because the atmosphere and the welcome were busted by the lady. If you want your guests to be happy and keep your business going you should maybe start to be more friendly. ;)

What was the highlight of P Chaweng

The best thing was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was one of the best breakfast I had during my stay in Thailand. The location was very convenient and you can easily rent a motorcycle at the place.

The room were a bit old. The AC was specifically sluggish and took much time to cool the room. The lady at the reception could have been more soft speaking

Comfortable safe friendly

Central. Very friendly. Budget hotel with 2 beds ( clean sheets), hot shower, air con, ideally soyed for what we wanted. Would return. Had a pool, which we didn't swim in but looked great. Complimentary tea and coffee. Bathroom had a wee bit of 'other' hair on floor but ok.SGD 16 to airport with Grab.

Good

Good facilities, the room was big and clean.

The hot water wasn’t working during the whole stay and the shower didn’t have any pressure. We had to take cold shower on the pool shower outside. I requested a few times to someone to come and have a look at it but nothing was done until we left.

We originally thought the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable

THE STAFF ARE THIEVES This guesthouse has stolen 2,400 Euro of my partner!! All of the staff here know exactly what they are up to and I am so devestated to read on trip advisor and other websites that this situation has happened many times before! The cleaner on our last day completely turned my partners bag upside down and stole his money which was well hidden inside a pair of shorts, inside a plastic bag at the very bottom of his massive rucksack with another load of bags on top of. The way the staff treated us when this happened was DISGUSTING. After being allowed to watch back on CCTV - it was clear to see that the only person who had entered the room apart from us was the cleaner and yet they STILL continue to deny that it was them. When approaching the cleaner, she acted as if she did not speak a word of English even though she had been speaking clear English to us for the past week. The staff were so unbelievably rude and disrespectful towards us and I really hope that they realise that they have completely ruined our trip which we have worked so very hard for. Do not stay at this guesthouse unless you are willing to give up all your money and valuables. It is so unsafe and they really do not care about their guests. I really hope that one day this guesthouse will stop getting away with stealing money as it is clear to see that this has happened on several occasions when reading trip advisor reviews!!!! They should not be getting away with this!! Don’t take the risk!

What was the highlight of P Chaweng

Pleasant staff with ok English skills, good simple breakfast, good wifi, cheap motorbike hire, location close to main beach and walking street areas.

One of the outside airconditioners had a loud pulsing growl from a worn compressor bearing which necessitated ear plugs for sleep first night, but my room was then cheerfully changed to a quiet one. Chaweng: The walking street is infested with ultra-load vans touting thai boxing and other dubious attractions, also many people smoking everywhere including inside the restaurants . . . chiefly loud citizens of that big country to the north.

Nice breakfast, room cleaned every day, comfortable bed.

We got once dirty towels but I believe that was not on purpose. Lot of mosquitos on the side where our room was, so we couldn't open window.
